Air Fryer Chicken Legs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 chicken legs (drumsticks)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper for added heat
Instructions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken legs with olive oil until evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken legs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry the chicken legs at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Once done, remove the chicken legs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
