Ingredients:
1 pie shell (9-inch, baked)
4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 ½ cups water
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 ounces strawberry gelatin
Directions:
Prepare the Pie Crust: Place the sliced strawberries into the baked pie crust.
Make the Glaze: In a small saucepan, mix water, sugar, and cornstarch. Bring this mixture to a boil and continue boiling until it becomes clear and thick, which should take about 2 minutes.
Add Gelatin: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the strawberry gelatin until it's completely dissolved.
Combine and Chill: Pour the gelatin mixture over the strawberries in the pie shell. Then, chill the pie in the refrigerator.
