Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup orange marmalade
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
Zest and juice of 1 orange
Sesame seeds for garnish
Chopped green onions for garnish
Directions:
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear until golden brown on all sides. Transfer the chicken to the slow cooker.
In a bowl, whisk together the orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, orange zest, and orange juice. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is tender.
Serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
