Cheesy Pillsbury Crescent Roll Taco Bake

Ingredients :

1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury crescent rolls

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1/2 cup water

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup salsa

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions :

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

Add the taco seasoning mix and water to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.

Unroll the Pillsbury crescent rolls and separate them into triangles. Arrange the crescent roll triangles in the prepared baking dish, with the points facing towards the center, to form a crust.

Spoon the seasoned ground beef mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the beef mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, sour cream, salsa, and chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
